<div class="IPBDescription">So how about them OCs...</div> Now that TFs can be electrified, wondering, do they attack alien structures? One of my common tactics as an offensive gorge was to build up a solid defense and then slowly build OC's right up to the TF (which was usually covering a res node or half-built siege or similar tactical point). If so, what's the dmg vs. structure? Same as the dmg vs. alien? Or is it slightly less? I can't really compare the two structures myself, not knowing if Flayra's vision is to have marine structures stronger than aliens, aliens stronger than marines, or have it structure dependant.
I can say that it might be nice if alien structures took slightly less damage than normal from marine structures (including turrets) considering the marines nade launcher does X2 more damage to alien structures. Maybe half damage from turrets and electricity? What do you think? In my opinion this should not include the siege cannon HOWEVER, I would change the siege cannon to a structure ONLY weapon so that aliens attempting to build or just wandering by weren't obliterated by it. But that could go in another idea thread entirely...

The changelog refers to a bug in one of the betas where Flayra accidentally had set it to 4000 hp = more than 1 fully loaded lmg can provide <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo-->
Personally, I don't think this would be implemented because structures aren't really supposed to take an offensive role (with the exception of seige). They're more for defending and holding key areas as well as setting up "safe areas" to prepare for strikes. So allowing turrets to have a special advantage in attacking other structures doesn't seem to fit with their role.
All alien structures heal themselves now so OCs are a bit stronger.
The part about OC hp being lowered was a bug, it was accidently raised to 4000 more than 1/2 the health of a Hive and it took all the marines ammo to kill one <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
