No - use ASE, like people are suggesting. It may be a little confusing to set up at first, but once you've got that done you'll find it's a much better program than Gamespy, and very easy to use.
I use HL IRC Tool, its only a favourite list but good for me

I can do filters for all seeing eye, for both the game itself from other hl mods, then i can aslo add filters for file consistence, high/ pings, country the server is in all that stuff.

It just works, and works fine with no **** around setting up filters and so on.
But all the other ones suggested are pretty good too. Myself, pfft, i'm just lazy and can't be arsed with setting them up.
just go to internet games in the HL internal browser.select filter by the server list and then check the box before 'filter game' and then choose NS from the box that appears behind it. normally you should filter so only NS servers show up. but it doesn't work with stuff like firewall.
sigh.. I give up, been at this 2 days straight.. just cant figure it out..in Gamespy it wont work.. ASE wont work .hlla wont work ill just go back to regular counter strike..

The answer is that you are likely connecting through the desktop icon, which is bugged. Delete it, and connect through the start menu. Then you will be able to properly filter NS servers, by going to the Filter and selecting "Filter by game: NS."

just click on "Natural Selection"

Filter for game "ns" (You can also do tons of other filters in there)
HL in-game filter has always been quite sufficient for me.
the desktop shortcut is, as mentioned earlier, "bugged"
this means that if you try to start NS, it fails, the graphics is there, but single-player and load options are as well (they will be dimmed if NS is started)
3 ways to go around this:

1. start natural selection from the start menu
2. start up in CS or any other mod, other than NS, go into the modviewer and select NS and load.
3. fix the shortcut

Rightclick the shortcut and select properties (the one at the bottom)
Find the Start in field (it should be empty)
Type in the path to your Halflife directory (usually c:\sierra\halflife\)
Click ok.

If you use either one of these "fixes" you should be able to select NS as gamefilter, and from there on it should just be smooth sailing.
