Quick question on r_speeds...

Right now, I only have about 1/3 of my readyroom built, and its r_speeds would probably crash software video mode users. What should the range of r_speeds be for an NS level?

try to stay in the 400-600 area, you can go up to 800, but its HIGHLY recommended that you stay lower, software users suck <!--emo&--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''><!--endemo-->

Yeah, I know. Also, in my previous level, none of the hives showed up in the game. Why is this?

hmm u need to acutally be played as marine or alien just being in the game as info_player_start dosent show the team_hive entity

I was playing as an alien, and all 3 hives were built. There were also marine start points in the level. Why didn't the hives show up?

Check the mapping guidelines for the definitive statement on r_speeds.
