Usually after a good game, the game rewinds back and starts again in my head. Usually just before i goto sleep..keeping me awake. Funniest thing ever, my dream ended with "MEDPACK" sound then i woke up.
Freaks me out but i was thinking "I should place web in here." In my room..man, i need to see a doctor, but what CS did was even worse..it made me paranoid , also it made me to whine alot..bah

Am I the only who keeps hearing those blasted 'blips' from the marine turrets? Thank goodness the amount of turrets has changed since 1.00, the effect was even heftier when there was 20 around a TF.
Well, I often hear skulks running around on the ceiling of my room, and that was even before I ever played NS! (of course, didn't know they were skulks before I started on NS, or perhaps it's just vermin somewhere under the roof).
Well, I never had NS dreams or hallucinations so far. Did have a few with Jedi Knight 2. And I still have loads of flight-sim related dreams. (how to recognize a jet sim freak: yell "Archer inbound!" and see how pale they get)
However, there's other messed up stuff Ever found yourself talking to someone you like (or at least not dislike) and found yourself wondering what would happen if you suddenly started a fight with them for no reason at all, thought about how embarrassing it would be, and then hoped that you would not start a fight with them (being afraid to lose control and suddenly go insane in public). Now that is a weird feeling, and I never played much fighting games so that can't be the cause.

I dont know if you would consider this a flash back, but when I get bord at work I imagine that my work area is a map for NS. I work at a theme park in fl. so I get tons of ideas for hives and places to hide. Or have people in the are and the aliens would eat em or the marines could save em.
i hear the chomping....CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP... oh yes, and i once said "yessir" to my mom while taking the comms orders..i dont even remember what she asked me...thats if i was ever listening to her in the first place...dam subconcious automatic answering brain of mine...mmm
I have had some of these symptoms, though nothing for NS. I have definetly had the oh i wonder what the r_speeds are when looking at that thing experience. And I played lots of tetris, atomix etc and stuff as a kid, remember thinking how to move my cup on the desk to a certain position the way you move something in atmoix. I also remember trying to point at things in my room using my mouse pointer.
As for doing weird things in your dreams... When I was a child I used to sleepwalk alot, I even got up in the middle of the night trying to find my jacket in a big box with lego (ofcourse it wasnt there) and my mom asked me why I hadn't gone to bed (while still sleeping), apparently I told her I was looking for my jacket and that I was going outside to watch the meteor shower(!) there wasnt one ofcourse and she convinced me to go to bed, (she knew I was a sleepwalker so she did'nt get THAT surprised), still I had quite a laugh when she told me in the morning. I once took a big bite out of a block of cheese while sleeping(and I did'nt like cheese ) apparently I had left it out on the table fridge open, turned on the watertap and went to bed... Boy my mom got quite crossed for that one . When you sleep walk you either remember it as a dream or you have no recollection of it at all, it can be quite embarassing at times (like sleep-taking a bite of cheese). I have also once woken up from "hes dead Jim", I flung out of bed and felt rather silly.
Recently I haven't sleepwalk much, but I fell a sleep at the computer a few years ago when I was learning about how to make windows aps. I eventually woke up and found myself registering a window classes called chocolate (I am a chocoholic but this is rediculous!), well I couldn't stop laughing for ten minutes
Sleepwalking is scary especially if you find that your capable of eating stuff in your sleep and not waking up (and I like chemistry so you might se how it could become a problem ).

I sort of kept repeating the main theme of it in my head til I got up and played some loud and different music, then it quickly went away. That really scared the hell out of me!
I think this sort of repeating noises in your head etc. thing comes about because you take an interest and must infact listen to it for some reason when you are playing a game, as an example, hearing skulks is so important while playing on the marines that you concentrate on this, and when you quit playing after 8 hours or whatever some of your brains out there still listen for skulks...

When I see vents, I just think to myself... man, good thing that vent is welded. I skulk could fit right in there. Then I check around to make sure there aren't any otehr vents that need welding. There is a vent in my room, I plugged it shut with some cloth. Just incase....

I always think where I would put turrnts in my house to defend it lol my house is wide open with huge roofs a skulks dream so I always look up at the roofs "just in case" I figure I could hold my bathroom and sisters room logest lol only 1 way in.
Trying to build a Phase gate from my room to the kitchen doesnt help. Specially seeming as though you can't find the comm chair.....
I can't go out at night anymore, hearing the footsteps of the skulks "tap tap tap tap" behind me is too freaky. Specially since we've got this really bad alley way right near our house and when it's night time you can't see an absolute thing. I can't find my flashlight and I think my LMG is out of ammo, i panic and start running and the "tap tap tap tap" gets closer and closer. When I turn around to see if it is a skulk i rip out my knife, which i find is inexistant, and then start slashing at thin air. I turn around again and start walking back to my house and I swear I can still hear the "tap tap tap tap".
I wake up from strange dreams about abandoned space ships and invasion of the Bacterium spawning from my kitchen.
It was worse with Ultima Online, i remember once yelling out "BANK" at an ATM and having people look at me funny.
I always strafe around large crowds etc.. life's like a game for me now. I really have the paths crossed between the real world and natural selection, it's scary and fun at the same time.
What really freaks me out is when i take a leak just before going to bed. I have to walk along this long dark hallway and I crouch, literallly, and head around to the end of it trying not to make a sound. When I reach the hallway I've got to turn right so I walk backwards to see if there are any skulks up the top. This is the part where I trip down the stairs and hit my head. I get up thinking how stupid and paranoid I am and walk the rest of the way to the toilet. Then the "tap tap tap tap" noise comes back to haunt me when I'm heading back. I jump into bed and dream about weird stuff.
Either I stop playing it or I'll start stealing pies like this guy: http://66.111.43.11/reports/2003/WORLD/019...94/1982024.html

You know Halo right? Well the people that made Halo made a game called Marathon. Way back when I played it non-stop. It was the funnest experience in my life back then. But on to the topic. I always heard the Ph'or anywhere I went and instinctively looked for rocket launcher and/or terminal. One time I was just staring out into space when I should saw a Ph'or soldier and almost fell over.

Anyway, I'm walking into my room, and the downstair door opens, and when it does, it makes a Beep Beep, noise (stupid security system). Anyway, turns out my dog was underneath the bed, and she always runs downsairs when she hears it (she's a minature snausure, so she's a small dog). She bolts out from under my bed, and runs beneath my legs and down the stairs. Weird part about it was that in my head, it was still doing voices yelling for ammo, screaming, and then radio static, and then clattering of skulk feet on the ground. And the constant ambience of gunfire in my head. So when I see her run under my light extreamly fast, I instictivley jumped over her and went to pull out my pistol... I then ripped my pants pocket as I lifted the pistol to line up the first shot. What a good pair of Jeans, wasted.
I also see things really clearly in the night, for some reason. Hallucinations, I mean. I was coming back from downstairs, getting some food, and I walk into my room, and my monitor is casting light onto a Fade, just standing there, looking at my computer screen. I blink, and look at the wall, and there is no shadow, so I said "Ah screw it, I need a life", and just sat down. It stayed there the entire night, so whenever I would turn around, thered be drool and heavy breathing in my head. this' more mapping related, but since it's ns map so i guess it goes: i was taking a ride with car and watched outside, when i suddenly saw a smooth & round corner and i was like "whoa, that's pretty kewl". after few seconds i realized that this isn't HL -engine
