    My money's on it being the new GL, though I'm a little disappointed it doesn't look much like the one in the pre-1.00 screenies. Time will tell, of course.

    Look closely, its got a handle on it. Very similar to large machine guns (see the para from Counterstrike)

    Yeah Im with shaggy - it has absolutely no likeness to any grenade launcher I have ever seen. It tapers out to a point on the muzzle, and has iron sights + a handle and looks a lot more like a machinegun than a gren launcher...

    the handle and shortness make me think welder.

    although the only model i know they are redoing is the GL, since everyone says it is a placeholder model, so it would make more sense for it to be a GL, but whats with the handle then?

    Bah! Dollars to donuts, it's the nader! That taper on the end looks more likesome kind of fin thingy-ma-bob like on an old caddy. You can see the big round barrel goes most of the way. Guns don't just "taper off".

    I firstly though of a HMG , but then , it you look close under the supposed 'handle' , the magazine is not completely cylindrical but its composed by let's say about 6 small cylinders ( in the image you can see 2 quite clearly ) . So that would be the magazine for a nade launcher.
    I'm not sure if it is really a handle that is up there , who knows.

    The LMG is going to be remodeled too (other thread with the scope lmg)

    It gets a minicomputer instead of the scope.

    And yes there "SHOULD" be a flamer but this wasn't possible to make.

    From the small length (as shown by the size of the handle) and the small nozzle at the end, i'd say that this is probably a new Welder, however the circular shapes on the side could suggest 'barrels' for a grenade launcher, and we can't tell how wide it is so it could be a 'plump' GL instead.

    Either way it's probably one of those 2.
