I haven't already started a clan, but I'm likely to do so..

but take this advise; don't make too much. especially for a (for now) small mod like this. When the mod launches don't be all to surprised when the buzzy bot phenomenen kicks in (6 servers with 0 players 24 hours a day), therefore i hereby CALL upon the PR manager and all others: ADVERTISE, ADVERTISE, ADVERTISE.
I love this mod but i will quit it when it goes the buzzy bot or opera tour.

anyway... There already are to clans with Alpha on it that are very good. Alpha Team, and Alpha Squad. They're both from my country and both do win international competitions, they are very well known here.
Well... Anyway... For now, they only play CS, DoD and a couple of others I think. But it really would be confuse if we saw Alphas all around the place bacause I don't doubt they get to play this game too.
There are always existing clans from other games whose members try to play another games, and try to expand the clan to it.
I'm the leader of a clan myself, we play CS, mainly... And I'm going to expand it to NS, believe me... (I'm the leader, so what? play NS or you are booted! he he!<!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->
Anyway, take my word of advise, check for clan names before creating a name for your own, in <a href="http://www.clanbase.com" target="_blank">ClanBase</a>, because there are plenty, enough, more than possible... Alpha stuff.
Not my case, my clan's name doesn't have any problem with nobody and I don't feel like mentioning it before the game is released, call me supersticious, lol.
but i think clans improve gameplay, or at least for me, especially good ones, becuz they encourage teamwork, and are usualy fairly well skilled, so in those conditions i usualyl try to look good <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->
Scenario 1: 2 marienes are leaning against a wall, they start talking as one lights up a ciggarete. The see a level 4 lumber around the far corner and look both ways. The one spits out his ciggarette and pulls out his LMG and starts shooting, but the lev 4 isn't there anymore. All the sudden *<b>Twack</b>* one marine loses his head, the other turns around to see same lev4 ight behind him and it goes to black and you hear another <b>THWACK!</b> Make the text "Natural Selection" slide out from under a black mask synchonus with the last thwack.

Freemantle, what the heck did your post have to do with anything in this thread? Was there even one shred of relevancy to this topic in that rant? I think not! Please make a measured effort to stay on topic, or else these boards will just become too damn random.
Anyways, clans are a good thing in my opinion. Parse has his work cut out for him with clanfission, but if he succeeds NS will just be that much better. Count on seeing me in them clan matches, and depend on seeing EC at the top baby!
