I started making a g11 just for kicks. But I thought it would also fit into NS nicely (cuz its not to realistic or CSish, and pretty sure it has a 50rnd mag) . So I'm starting a little project on it if anyone wants to help me out, I already have the base model done, and I think I plan to skin it, I might be needing help with boning it, (no pun intended ? becuase I'm fairly new to modeling. Good old APG... *lives about 6 miles from Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD* Heh. The only bad thing is the explosions from testing :/ Back to the topic...I think that The G11 would make a good HMG replacement, if only for size matters.
The G11 is a good weapon, and I actually like it history wise. Without it, I wouldn't have my favorite gun (the H&K G36 PWNZ). The G11 was going to be bought by West Berlin during the Cold War, but after the collapse of the Berlin Wall, they scrapped the whole project due to the fact that they had to spend all the money invested in the G11 project into rebuilding East Berlin, etc. The German Army had to revert to using the old G3 models. Then they came up with the G36 - a cheap, reliable model.
That was sugar coated, by the way. And I like the model...
The esiest way 2 get a g11 would be 2 take tha g11 (with premission) from the wastes n put it into ns... just change the textures 2 ns... Like green n stuff...
Well thats a problem I am trying to solve with the modeler I also asked him to make a fire selection switch sector, and after that is fixed i will mess with the lighting.
Ummm more detail plz u dont juz ask can u skin my model and expect me to know what it is lol. but If u send me a texture map and the ms3d file i will c what i can do
