in my server as a marine i can walk up to an offence chamber, when its planted in the middle of an open room, and it wont cause me damage unless i touch it

    are you sure it is built?
    are you sure they are OCs not SCs? (OCs are red, SCs are blue)

    as a test do this:

    start a lan, then type thes commands into the conn
    sv_cheats 1
    bigdig
    givepoints (do this a few times)

    now, go aliens, go gorge and drop a few WoL
    now F4 go marines and walk up to these OCS <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    maybe you could try turning sv_cheats off.

    this happens to me as well, but it doesnt happen on the real servers so i dont worry about it
