    Umm... I'm not playing 1.1.

    All chambers are supposed to be equally viable, sooooo does it matter which build order you use in 1.04?
    Multiple gorges are supposed to be viable, soooo does it matter if we have 4 gorges in 1.04?

    Now getting back to the actual topic, drawviewmodel is considered a bug and is locked (the downside to the skulks ability to turn a lightly armored marine into a yummy snack is those big jaws taking up your screen, and they are meant to do that) , crouched bh is also considered to be an exploit of sorts, due to to the fast that now your moving faster than your enemy, your silent, and now your ridiculously hard to hit due to the various marine hitbox bugs there are. My rule of thumb is: If it gives you an advantage over other players and wasn't meant to be used in the game, don't do it. Bunnyhopping is fine for me in tfc, a game you can hop into and start randomly spamming everywhere, but NS matches are complicated, lengthy, and take effort. If I had some guy ruining a match I had put an hour or more into by bunnyhopping, I'd give him a one way ticket out of my server. If your wondering why we are bothering to discuss this even though 1.1 is right around the corner, it's because I'd hate to see NS take a hit in it's playerbase due to a few people who want to use a game bug to their advantage laming up some servers. Bah, oh well, can't control others.

    There is a HUGE difference in bhopping preformance between high and low end machines. And if you don't have a mousewheel when you're bunnyhopping, 80% most likely you only think you are and you're doing it wrong. I've run into too many people who think they can BH and turns out they are just diagonal jumping or some dumb stuff like that. Mousewheel makes it infinitely easier to bh.

    Not saying you don't know how to BH, but since i generally don't respect it in NS anyway I suppose I shouldn't care, and I'm simply saying you'll bh with more accuracy and probably faster if your using a highend machine and a mousewheel (and that's my gripe with NS bunnyhopping, just one more advantage to high end machines). But as i said before, the arguing is pointless anyway. Right now is the perfect time for the script kiddies to get their "elite" on, before 1.1 comes out, and I bet they will.

    Well, I'm 99.9% certain I am doing it right. You know, back before 1.5 patch, I was going quite a bit faster than a scout as hw (you can't go faster than them now due to the 140% speed cap but you can go faster than a medic!). Mouse wheel is ok for noobs but it really begind to hurt your hand after a while, if you want to bhop all the time then you need to use wasd (or something like it). It takes a lot of time to do it, but it is well worth it. Btw, did you know soldier could go 17x faster than scout before 1.5 patch in tfc, oh my god that was funny!

    if Flayra didn't like it and decided it should go, then it should go. And if he removed it it's not because it's good. Not that I have anything against bh in pub play, it is quite annoying when you see people jumping away from you all the time you wonder what the TSA did to their soldier's legs.

    it is not possible to script it, it would be really useless and i would never use a script if there would be one out there.

    I have to agree with the point that bh is much more harder to learn on low end machines.

    but i hate those ppl who talk about something they don't really know about, if u can find a workingand good bh script I'll never ever bunnyhop in any game.

    Ok BH will be gone for the next release but u don't know what happens, as far as I know (not 100% sure) was bh removed in TFC and had a comeback later on. So let's see.

    You don't seem to get it, I can write a single line Bhop "script" in my console, I like to call it "mwheeldown bhopping" You can stop bunnyhopping now, and in the future please try to read every post in a thread before you make your own.

    Wrong, with my mousewheel I can jump more times in 1 second than any non script using human, the whole point of bhopping is to jump once and then jump again before the game can slow you down all the while accelerating, ad infinitum, this means that with my one line script I can bhop <i>better</i> than a "legit" bhopper, admittedly low fps can screw this up a little bit, but then again, it screws up "real" bhopping as well.

    this just proves what I had though! Read something about bhopping and see that iss much much more than only jumpin' how I said before:

    tell me if u get faster by ur script. U won't and if so u do something more than just jump. Than if bunnyhopping would be only jumping hell yeah why are the pubbers out there so slow? :-)

    believe me u cannot script it! it's impossible! u can "eventually" script it for a flat plattform with just 3 commands but this wouldn't work really b/c u need to stop turnung while touching the ground! and YES u touch the ground. This is nothing that HOVARS without Flapping we don't hover!

    Skulks can still bhop in 1.1!

    and as skulk it's much more effective than as marine, and if u'r mwheeldown script works fine 4 u then i think u got the wrong impression of Bhopping.

    I think u need to see sum real bhopper in action. tehn u'll see that ur mwheeldown script is just not working how it should!

    Ok, I just tested it again, I was able to reach 1.5x speed with 5 minutes of practice, with each jump I was going faster and further, I'm sure that I could make 2x speed with a bit more practice, its not as simple as just scrolling while jumping, it doesn't really do it for you, but it makes it a <i>lot</i> easier, what speeds do you "l337" bhoppers reach? I'd like to know, since it seems my script is "not working".

    first of all u cannot reach 2x speed! why? because HL limits Strafejump speed to 180% so and we jump at 1,8x speed.

    And u see u need more than just a mwheeldown script. It makes the jumpin' easier could be, but this isn't a strafejump script man!

    Ok, I admit it, like I said it doesn't do it for you, but the main difficulty of bhopping for me is the timing, if your just a split second late then you go back to normal speed (and you can't do it rythmicaly either, because each jump is longer than the last >_<), mwheel down cuts the difficulty in half, I suppose your right about your deal to stop bhopping if you find a working bhop script without limitations, because they don't exist, but its a lot easier to bhop than you think (thought? Your last post wasn't too clear).

    And I understand the "no-BHs" but I learned the bunnyhop a long time ago, and I still don't master it perfect like sum Veterans.

    And then if u put so much time in something and then comes someone and says I've seen someone with Bunnyhop script (which doesn't really exist) I get angry, same with bunnyhopping removed although I accept it b/c it screws gameplay up! Hope u Understand me b/c english is just my 2nd language.

    I think u got something similar to silencer one :-) but how I said a real bh script doesn't exist!
