This is a bit cccccrazy me thinks it was while i was playing on a respectable sever, anyone ever come across this kinda bug before.....If upload does not distort (anyone know how to fix this probem please e-mail me (escooler@hotmail.com))
Also in thsi strange game the marines reloacted to a gap under one of the lifts or whatever they are in marine start, thats why everyones saying / stuck

Depends. If it was like that for everyone, someone editted the map on the server. (Poorly) This is sometimes done to reduce server load. If not, looks like a rendering glitch or a map loading problem.

No one changed the map as i did not downlaod any changes, and it is a offical magazine sever so it was not that. and it actualy was nto there, i droped into the hole, it might still be there if your lucky, its pczones offical server (UK).
I've seen objects vanish in other HL maps. Sometimes they vanish completely, like the glass at T spawn on de_prodigy. Or they are "sorta" there like the fallen over vending machine in cs_office. I'm not sure what causes it though.
some parts of the map (entities?) can be removed on the server side without the need for clients to download the map again. As mentioned, some servers do this to improve server performance.
Don't know if can be this, but I've played Half-Life a lot and in any mod, if you go too much to any extremity of the map (like, places where the map ends, or where there isn't anything), you don't see some textures/entities. It's just like when you fly as spectator outside of the map, you can see through a lot of things and can't see others. Guess in that pic, the skulk was very high, touching the top of the map (with part of his body out of it), so he didn't saw the floor entity. <!--emo&::skulk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/skulk.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='skulk.gif'><!--endemo-->
Also you might start noticing weird glitches like that if your hardware is overheating.
I was overclocking my video card once and there was this triangle section of wall in Atmospheric Processing on ns_bast that glitched out and caused a "hall of mirrors" effect.... only that one section of the wall though. It was because my video card was overheating.
And would someone enlighten me as to why that section of the floor would be an entity and not a world brush?

Its a func_seethrough so that everyone but the commander sees it normally, but the commander can see through it.
I don't think its a bug. You're just at the commander view level. At that level, you can see through designated parts of the map. Maybe the fact that it thinks that you're at the commander view level is a bug though.

And its not jsut invisible, you can fall through it.
