(Species) Lerk
Summary: Wiry fast and fierce, Lerks excel at attacking from a distance, as they are herbivores and dislike the taste of human flesh. They are small and light - making them difficult targets, but less resistant to damage. If Skulks are hit and run artists, then Lerks are guerrilla fighters without peer, using their speed, mobility, and range to harass marine squads with impunity. When not defending their hives from intruders, they can be found in the garden tending to their beloved crops of carrots, leeks and radishes.

I didn't find any *bad* sci fi in the manual
But I agree that it needs to be more organised.

[Cult]Creep.
I find it extremely difficult to defend a hive with the 1.1 lerk becuase the damage isn't there. Every second counts when stopping a rush, and spores / spikes don't kill fast enough. In 1.04, hive defence is my favourite part of the game <--- No joke!
Oh I have not read the manual yet...but it sounds interesting so I'll go check that out now.
"Ok Jim-Bob, let's go kick some alien behind... or whatever they have."
"Sorry Billy, I... can't."
"What?"
"I just... can't."
"Why not?"
"I got hit by a radish in a very private place."
"So what's the problem? Have a medpack and let's get going."
"No... that's not it..."
"What is it THEN?"
"It's grown roots..."
Whats next, nixing parasite?
Isn't hit and run tactics the basis of guerrilla warfare? or am I just reading this wrong?

Nope, next up the fades will actually fade away over time, so after being a fade for some time you

can no longer attack

are invisible and invincible and

have noclip.

You make a great spy, but can no longer directly affect the game unless you type "kill" in console.
