I really think this could helpout Flayra and the whole NS dev team and the community if we put our heads together and think of ideas to make this happen and come true for us all.

And I'm sure it'd rake in a [colorful metaphor]load of money to help Flayra design and maybe keep designing new NS's or whatnot,after he takes a break from 1.1

I'm sure Flayra has thought about this and ya all never know he may suprise us all oneday and really blowout our minds hehe lol <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'> which I would hope for very much.

I just wanna helpout in anyway I can,maybe learn afew things etc.

I'm sure we've had that already, I guess it was in O/T. I also think I posted a few examples of movies made after games. I think they all more or less sucked. If anything, I want a Devil May Cry movie.

Well some or most of the movie would be CGI,ya could hire ILM-Industrial Light and Magic the same people who did StarWars ep 1 n 2,then ya would have to hire actors maybe some of the big hollywood ones NYC ones anything to wear electronic sensor body suits that records every movement the person makes.I've seen just about how every movie is made,plus having an infinite imagination of possibilities the ideas for it or anything related to NS would be endless.

I don't know anything about coding etc.(trying to learn) Flayra and NS is an inspiration to me.

Yes a movie would be damn cool.

We'd get that guy from Die Hard as the commander and some other guys as troops. Maybe Tom Cruise or some other actors and the Karaa would be all Light and Magic.

1. There is a Devil May Cry movie in production stages. It was listed at GameFAQs.com. The budget is about 80 million with no one assigned to star in any roles yet.

2. If there was an Natural Selection movie it should be called, "Natural Selection: AFK 4 life". It would be about 2 players who join a pub server that really want to go marines but learn that there's a guy camping in the marine portal that's AFK for life. The whole movie can circulate around the 2 players trying to find a way to get on marines using some very dirty tricks like admin_vote_kick, trying to trick NSplayer into joining aliens, using /slap command to knock the AFK player into the aliens portal, & using mind games on each other.

meh u do know there wont be any movies of NS BUT what u can wish for and MAY come true is a computerized movie (like the beginning trailer) seeing how it doesnt cost 40-50 millon to make only cost around couple 100 due to food, budget, and programs, or u can just waste 3 years of your life and make one on flash players <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'>

I think a Natural-Selection anime would rock just as much as the movie. Anything with the word Natural-Selection in it refering to the game title will rock. u know i also have been waiting for one to come up.. I LOVE THOSE LITTLE CLIPS OF BATTLE SCENES! AND i love the storyline, its so intresting, i really do tehy come out with a movie, and if they come out with a warcraft one instead i will.. kill them.. literally.. flip out....

Mortal Kombat 1 was pretty good. It was pretty damn accurate to the plot of the series but it went downhill the second Mortal Kombat 2 came out (Hi, you don't need to stuff in every single character into your movie because you can.) Mortal Kombat succeeded because they had good actors for the characters (Christopher Lambert was a damn good Rayden.) they kept the focus on a small amount of characters unlike MK2 where they chucked every character in the whole game one after the other for no reason other than to try to make you go, "oooo there's Emrac!" & finally, unlike most video games, MK had some good backstory & plot to it.

Tomb Raider wasn't that bad either. Wasn't great but wasn't bad either. Street Fighter the Animated Movie was extremely good if you can find it, so was Tekken the Animated Movie.

There should be a movie on Unknown Enemy: Uncertain Outcome. It was a great NS fanfic (I read it for about 5 hours straight) and it is certainly long enough to be a movie.

First of all, the world of cinema is different from the game world. The ego over there is so big you could build a city on it, oh in fact they did with Hollywood <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'>

Think about it, maybe a movie will bring in money, but that is IF it works. You would need a couple millions of persons THAT DID NOT PLAY THE GAME to go see it, and it will not happen. Even whatever people will say, it is still based on some idea from some movies. It is <i>similar</i> to the Alien saga, that similarity is enough for a couple of person to sue for plagiarism. I don't think Flayra has the time to go down that warpath, at least not now. Maybe when the Mod will replace counter-strike ! Hell, they are making a movie of Counter-Strike (It's called S.W.A.T., and if it's not based on that freaking game, plz shoot me).

One other thing, like someone already mentionned, games turned into movies never really did work. They got out soso, enough to pay the productions costs (not many movies don't achieve that in the U.S.A., since they are a majority of people going to see every movie that comes out... :/ )

So that is my opinion on why a movie shouldn't be made.

P.S. Also, since we'd have important character in the movie, kiddies are going to name themselves after him (nothing wrong with that). How many of you have seen all the Vasily Vaydsev (or however you call him) in Day of Defeat ? ::sigh::

And I would not want to see an american format of this game. Don't take it bad producers and script writers, but I'm getting fed up of Deus Ex Machina and the little good guys alwayswinningandlivinghappilyeverafterawwsocute!

Screw a NS movie! You have the best video game movie ever made and its out already!
I'm talkin about <b>MARIO BROS!</b> Best movie<u> ever </u>IMO. I mean they had everything Yoshi, Daisy, Mario, Luigi, Bowser, and the little bobombs with reebok sneakers. What more could you want!
Ahhhh the memories. I think i'm gonna go watch it right now!

super mario bros. the movie was bearable when combined to the eternal boring-ness of final fantasy: the spirits within. that movie was nicely animated but was so boring they could have better gotten some FFgeeks and let them play FF1 and just voice act all the NPCs. EVEN THAT WOULD BE MORE EXITING(although the series was **** whith FF7(all the PS FFs had eqeul gameplay exept FFT) in my opinion(anybody noticed barret looked like Mr. T?) and didn't get better after that). and with the exeption of a few movies all video game-to-movie sucked.

maybe there could be parts where you are seeing some guys playing NS on LAN and making all lame jokes and screaming: 0MG H4X0R!!!!!!11 when they got killed. so you see some guys doing the actions of the characters of the game.
