Do you bathe? How would you like it if I took you drowned you, your family, your entire community in a base solution!?!?! Well thats what happens to dust mites on your skin. Yet I don't see anybody that cares.

dust mites aren't sentient. I don't think anyone is laughing at that cat because it's retarted but just because of its funny apperance (I'm not that easily amused so I'm not laughing either way) so just relax.

Well for starters we have to bathe to survive (or mayby not? People in england bathed once a year in Queen Elizabeths time). Second we arent laughing at the dustmites. Third i think i read somewhere that dustmites are like jellyfish, they dont really think that much. A cat can think and feel more than most animals. Your analogy is not the same thing.

They have a central nervous system they are related to spiders and ticks. So they do think.

They aren't sentient. As in they don't have conscienciousness. Which basically means they are mindless constructs of cells and organals (sp).

How do we know they don't have thoughts? They have somewhat a brain and are aware of thier enviroment. Tarantualas arent that dumb.

Btw I wasn't laughing at the fuggin cat either. If somebody posts something that I think is funny as long as im not gonna hurt anybody I will laugh.

Trust me on this one. Most parasites aren't sentient, this includes mites, vines, fleas, ticks (I think you mentioned them earlier) viruses etc. Spiders are preditors so they aren't comparable to ticks or mites.

Lol id love to have one of those cats.... It would be cool. I had a cat once and we thought it was retarded, cuz it sometimes tilted its head and fell every time it tried to walk. Now that i think about it it did kinda look like those cats but not as bad. Anywayz eventually it learned to hold its head right and walk so im assuming it was just a very weak runt with a too big head.
