<div class="IPBDescription">Awesome song for a preview video</div>As i was sitting here...i was just thinking about NS and i decieded that a new Preview video should be instore and a perfect song for that would have to be No Leaf Clover by Metallica...just an idea..

/me casts vote for the intro to "Dead Bodies Everywhere" by KoRn. Without the entire chime thing and edited around the lyrics (so none are in the intro). I could whip an edited MP3 up if you want it.

I personally love Korn, but that kind of music really doesn't fit in with the theme NS is going for. It's all about subtle atmospheric stuff... instrumental. Metallica seems even further from NS.

I know you're just talking about a preview vid, but I think it would be in the game's best interest to stick with it's core points even in videos. That might just be me though. <img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> But yeah... there's no way you're going to hear that kind of stuff shipping with NS, so I doubt it would be in a preview video.

hmmm put in techno music and have samll clips of fighting and after ever 10 or 20 sec a word apears or a sentence something like courege honor sacrifice or something or just the music and the clip with stuff beign built and then destoryed by enemy and killing the enemy and rebuilding.

I sincerely believe country music would fit into NS more than techno. and lord help us if country music is ever in there :P

In all likelyness, the NS team wouldn't include ANY of these songs in any officially stamped preview, because they are all copyrighted. I know there's other mods who don't really pay attention to that when making a trailer, but I'm quite sure the NS team would want to avoid any possibility whatsoever of legal mumbo jumbo :)

[edit]p.s. for those of you who like to read into things, no i don't like country music. i hate it. i hate techno too :) only good techno song is the pac-man theme techno thingy as well as the speed racer one... that's it. ;)[/edit]

I like all music, apart from numetal and UK Garage. However, I do not feel that any of the stuff I listen to, or anyt of the stuff my friends or associates listen to fits the feel of NS. The loop I used for my flash i found on flashkit.com and has no roalties associated with it. It is pretty good. I will attack it right quick... too big. Poo. Hold up.
