I Cant Even Install Ns!

<div class="IPBDescription">I CANT EVEN INSTALL NS!!!</div> Ok I downloaded NS v1 and heres what I get for a message! You Must be running atleast version 1.1.1.0 of Half-Life or 1.3 of Counterstrike Retail in order to install the NSPT. Please upgrade, then re-run this installation. Well I have Counter Strike Retail, I play DOD and CS, I have full updates for DOD(v1.0), and I believe I have all for CS, I have 1.5 for CS. So what do I need to do to get this installed cause it looks tight! Thanks.

    Now I've got a new problem, I've got it installed, and when I go in to join a server it says: You cannot connect to a server running a custom game ns untill you install the custom game.

    Well I have tried connecting to 30+ different servers and I've already got these maps, I even downloaded 30 new custom maps to try them and I cant get into a server at all, what can I do?

    umm, this is the borked desktop icon bug, simply don't use the desktop icon

    oh right som1s said that. . . anyway how do i get those pictures up on the left side BECAUSE IO'M NEW!!! and somtimes there really kool. oh and therres them ones on the bottem that cat one is funky!!

    I have the exact same problem as you, but nobody answered your question and you didn't explain how you fixed it. can somebody PLEASE tell me how to get it working. SAME EXACT PROBLEM AS ALEKOS. PLEASE get back to me soon i'm really eager to play, thanks!

    Like they said - delete your NS desktop shortcut. Use the one on the startmenu, or connect via a game browser like Gs3D or ASE.

    1. there is an EDIT button, it is used for EDITING posts, so you don't MULTIPLE post alot
    2. get rid of the sig, read forum rules about sig hight and width: 75*400, 22 kb maximum, no exceptions, not even a tiny little pixel or byte more <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
