<div class="IPBDescription">in 2.0?</div> Will there be left handed models for some of the weapons in ns 2.0? Or is it all right handed?
I know some guns would look the same left handed but for those that doesn't ( like hmg or pistol or fade acid rocket ) will there be left hand models?
thanks

Oh, wait, I forgot.
I don't care.
For 12 years my sister thought I was left handed. Wow. She really knows me well....
(Yes, i'm RIGHT handed, like all normal people <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> )
And I'm left handed.
Anyway, you can always assume that during training, all marines are trained(forced) to use their right hand, thus making everyone use the same equipment. I would think that this is the case in real life, but I don't know.
neat ...
Anyway. I'm right handed, but I actually often prefer left-handed view models. *shrug* Ah well. I don't complain if they aren't there, but I guess I'm just one of those groundbreaking types. I imagine any second I'll be executed and become a martyr for the cause! Woohoo!

I am very left handed tho, I use the mouse left handed and have most of my kb binds in the KP section (kp_ins is my strafe right, kp_del is my reload, kp_rightarrow is use, ect...), and again, a left handed model allows my to aim from the mouse (in my mind, at least)
IRL most of the weapons are able to be used by both left and right, so training issues rarely come up.
Sinister is (modern sp) latin for left, and dexter is (modern sp) latin for right, for those who care.
Ah well, I've been playing NS without them so far, I can wait for 2.1 (or 3.0) hint, hint...
Heh, technicaly its not a hand, so it wouldn't apply...
And in all the concept art, it hangs over the right shoulder of the fade.
Should there be left/right models for SkulkBite? o_O

(*hides*)
Actually, it took a long time for right-handed models to be an option in CS because it's a non-trivial task. (You can't just mirror the models.)
anyways I don't mind if there arent no left hand models just something for a polish if ns 2.0 is ready to go and is still waiting for the realese date.
"to please both sides" as one may say but that person is right there are more important things to work on ns than left handed models.
it will probably be somethign thats added when not much else can be...
(hopefully the 'cant add anyhting else' stage will never happen though. although inevitably (sp) it will)
........
What KFS said is true. The right hand side of the body is controlled by the left hemisphere of the brain, whilst the left hand side of the body is controlled by the right hemisphere.
That said, left handed models would be nice for lefties. Options are always good, but it also depends on if the devs really can be bothered. If they cant then the lefties will simply have to make do (and take their revenge later <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->).
I'm right handed, but I'd like be ambidextrous <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
