Is Single Player Ns Possible?

<div class="IPBDescription">Think about it</div> I'm not talking NS with bots, i mean a proper single player game, like the original HL. I mean, with the commander, the building, the class system of aliens... If it ever did go single player (not retail like CS and DOD, i mean, a stand alone game here), what would it be like? A normal FPS killing aliens, only maybe your objectives are updated by showing a waypoint on screen etc... Or would it, say, be like C&C, where you start off with a MCV and a handful of soldiers. You would start off as one of the soldiers, or maybe there would be an option at the start to play as the commander for a typical RTS.

This isnt a "OMG RELEASE NS SINGLE PLAYER NOWWWWwwwwwwww!11" thread, this is simply:

    lol well now u know its possible but that UNOFFICIAL ADDON to NS isnt gonna have a commander mode i think.. a single player mission but with the ns guns and stuff..

    Yes, I also feel NS Online will always win out, but thats just my opneion also.
