<div class="IPBDescription">new things in v2.0</div> hey i think yur new game kicks ****. NS is one of the best mods by far. but i would like to know what are the new things that are going to be in v2.? Also are u guys gonna have a map editor any time soon?

    You'll be taken to the general discussion forum, where there is a webbed thread (the one I just gave you) which is about all the changes in 2.0

    As for map editors, I think you can use the ones for Halflife, but I'm not too sure, so I'll leave that question to others. At the NS webpage you can download the media pack which contains alot of textures and stuff you might need to make your own map.

    Heh, that's a cool question Weasel... From the minute you bought Half-Life, you could have been making maps for ANY mod out there (if you had the FGD, but let's not complicate things)... You can use the Worldcraft or the new Hammer to create maps for Half-Life or NS or any other mod, for that matter...

    hey thx for the link i apreciate it alot. did u guys help create the game cause u guys got alot of posts. World hammer is a pain to texture everything, like DOD maps take SO LONG to text.

    wow that took a while 2 read. man it sounds like they did a really good job on the new rules. allthough im a little worried about the marines, it sounds like they are going to be worked. and how do u get the map to work, i cant ever see myself on the map, it would be cool if u could see yur team members on the map aswell as yur self.

    The map is just to help you navigate. You are in the "center" of the map. Your buddies or enemies are not seen and won't be in any build, I think.

    Heh, what would be wrong with a French mod? I'm no French but wouldn't mind playing a French made mod... Anyway, the mod is a joint effort of multiple people, diversified in nationality.

    I personally just use the current textures (because I don't know how to texture...bleh heheheheh), and have DA BOMB marine start and readyroom.
