<div class="IPBDescription">Seriously tho</div> Sending 3 of my marines to keyhole on eclipse, with two attacking CC hive as a distraction, the express order i gave the keyhole team was, "DO not attack anything, unless attacked first"
The CC team did well bringing all the aliens to them, so the keyhole team was in position, i was saving res so i could place the tf, upgrade and place 3 sieges, so nothing was built yet, the team were all over the side of the railing ducked, a single skulk ran past, didnt even see them, then one of the team decided "i r teh leet skulk kill0r" and popped up began shooting, yes he killed that skulk, and yes he also allerted the entire alien team that we were at keyhole, and yes the fades came with lerk support, and yes we lost our ground.
Then joe skulk killer told me i was a complete n00b comm, and that it was my fault we were about to lose, sigh.
im not the best comm, but seriously, all he had to do was sit his arse down and be quiet!

True though, pick the right people for under-cover missions, and don't pick <b>3</b>
Lol, most of the time it's the comm who blows such a mission:
"Comm, I'm going ninja to Powersilo, don't drop me anything unless I ask for it"
"Ok"
**fall damage at quad lift**
"How are you doing ThinG"
"Fine, don't give me anything"
"Ok"
**right around the corner from the hive, spawning aliens**
BLING BLING medpacks...
Dead ThinG...

So very very true...
I personally like to find a good vantage point to warn the team of incoming aliens.
Eventually some "portable turret" marine comes and sits next to me and starts blasting everything. We both die.
I shoot him in the face.
Smart kid, huh <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
How about we go into a server and when you do your stealthy undercover thing, I give you one medpack, and then you've got a fade tapping his claw on your shoulder...
sheesh, let's stop the hostility <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
Anyways...
These undercover missions will go fine as long as everybody knows what to and what not to do, and you have at least 1 distraction (rine attacking hive etc) going on somewhere else on the map.
Cheers
Stealth is very funny sometimes. I once tried to get a phase outside Engine Room at Engine Corridor on ns_bast. We had Motion Tracking and I was trying to avoid being detected from spawning skulks. I tried somewhat foresee if they would come from the left or right opening, so I could hide on the opposing side. 3 aliens didnt see me!!
Then the most funny thing happened. I **** on my pants when one Skulk got infront of me, stopped, started to upgrade his cara! OMG!!! I was right behind it! But I didnt fire! And it finished and run away <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> ROFL! In the end I was parasited though...the end <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
I was hiding in the marine start vent (not by the elevator, the one nearest to the CC) and an onos came right next to the vent and started to upgrade his cara! LOL!! I jumped out and unloaded a whole clip into the damn egg, but I was too late. Blasted thing destroyed me.
Good try it was though.
PS: True story!!

here is a problem though, u cant expect a marine to kil la skileld skulk comming at him i mean, he waits for it to bite him once u know hes dead in a matter of seconds becuase that second bite is comming around the corner
Spams not just one but three sieges, two turrets and a health pack all the while getting all excited that we were finally going to kill there second hive (it had been a long "relocated to cargo" game)
Of course as soon as the gorge heard it he litterly hopped 3 feet and started screeming over voice com. With in 30 seconds I was fighting 2 fades 2 lerks and a skulk. Needless to say we lost all that gear
the point is, no skulks, or anything knew they were over the railing at keyhole, they were being completely silent, things came out of maint, and went straight to CC, where the other two marines were, once they were dead, one skulk came from south loop, moving ignorantly of the marines towards horse shoe. It was then he attacked the skulk, it had nothing to do with skillful skulks <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> It jst annoyed me so much i had to post here <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
That tactic of having one stealth marine in a hive ready to unload a clip or two while your entire squad of heavies starts moving to the other hive - now THAT is a tactic I love, works every time <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
