<div class="IPBDescription">the annoying thing</div> the worst thing about these maps
aliens
---------
huge space prob 50-200 meters usually
--------
marines
^ that is a demonstration of the sheer annoyance of climbing up those bloody walls. and whats worse. we cant get down and well as marines can get up. I have noticed. fades and onos are pretty useless in these maps. and the maps are jetpack heaven. must be someway to prevent the damn jetpack rush thing, its getting annoying. especially when you accidently fall only to find by the time youve climbed back up to save the hive. its dead.

that would be interesting if all the box maps suddenly became unplayable.
What do you know amckern? I only heard that their speed will be limited (as well as the lerks speed) as some kind of air resistance effect (or whatever it is called in English).
I think as long as the gorge builds enough ocs and webs the area, the hives can be secured well enough to get some time to evolve.
ahh amckern you mean that the jpers don't reach the top, because with the same amount of energy they can't get to the hives. Whether it is a speed limit or slower acceleration.
(btw jp push is framerate dependent in 1.0, so some people cand not get back up once they move down <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo--> - but this will be fixed <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> )
i heard of a map called commandmissile where the aliens start on the bottom rather then top, its pretty cool
