wanted my ns to look a certain way...
Hello. I need a modellar to help me customize my NS. I wanted to use a bunch of CS weapon models that i found on various sites. I wanted the game to have a "not to far in the future" look. Like maybe 15-20 years. The weapons i wanted converted from CS to NS are like....an mp5 with a scope and nade launcher that i found, a spas12 shotgun i found. Few other things. I would prolly use that sst/avp marine skin, but i would need the smartgun animations removed. And the final thing i would need done is all the marine structures reskinned to be black and silver. More realistic than green and blue. Please let me know if anyone could help me. Altho, should prolly wait for 2.0. Thanks guys.

How can you know for sure we don't already? Conspiracy! Well yeah guys, i know its alot but thats why i asked...i mean if noone wants to thats cool, not the biggest of deals. I can prolly skin the structures myself....the main thing was converting CS weapon models.

Leave the CS junk out of NS. Please. We don't want a pack that looks like a certain senseless killing rambo-galore mod which has deprived HL of it's proper glory.

for the skinning things--- just look in the stickies and get the decompile and compile tols al set up. Decompile the models and modify the skins, then recompile. Those would probably be the easiest. I could do all the other stuff for you probaly... I learned how to do all this stuff like yesterday.... but I can do it and I am anxious to practice. Hit me up on AIM at Frag0wnzj00 with the models you want converted and I can try

There's an easier way to do it - Half-Life Model Viewer lets you import and export skins directly to/from the model. No need to decompile.

yes I know, but I forgot about that. I personally would prefer to do it by decompiling, I dont know why, just because :/

Kratisto's decompiler, now supports transparency effects, masked and additive textures.

Same as above, except this one compiles.

I swear, I coulda swore this was already in Modeling 101...
