<div class="IPBDescription">Half clips? Is this a TSA budget issue?</div> I haven't seen this mentioned in any changelogs or beta threads yet... so was just curious with the close release date.
It's not a really logical feature, and can be annoying at times.
Is there any reason not to make it give out a full clip and just make it twice the time. So it's exactly like you stood there to get a full clip (just like you do anyway...)
Are there any objections???

Because ammo effects weight, and because of balance reasons; logic is kind of over-ridden in this case, and it's best for ammo to be given in small incriments, I'm assuming.
Worry not, though, you do get ammo a wee bit faster in 2.0.
Ammo is the balance to aliens having to evolve. You can upgrade as a skulk, or just run out as soon as spawning if a position is under pressure. Getting more ammo is the same aspect with marines.
Is weight really the issue though, as weight would only affect it if we were talking about taking 250 bullets extra or 200 bullets extra. I'm more pointing to the fact you nearly always take 50 bullets extra instead of 25. You don't want half a clip in the field so you wait that half a second more to get 25 more bullets. (If we are talking about the LMG, but it corresponds to GL, HMG and pistol too... shotgun with it's 1 shell reloading may be the exception)
So it's not really a balance issue at all. It's more - why half a clip? Doesn't seem real-world and we are talking about 24th century here... if they have full clips now in 99.9% of cases why shouldn't they in the future. I've done 6+ months of admining NS servers and I've seen new players ask why they get half clips - which I think is a very valid point from a logic point of view. You get ammo packs in full clips from that commander in the sky...
I'm a person who likes professionalism and detail - so it may be a little issue, but it can be amazingly annoying in certain instances and just makes no sense at all.
