Personally, I can't stand DivX. No fullscreen mode, TONS of freakin bugs, and out of what I can find, you could just use Quicktime(no fullscreen either...<!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> ) or Windows Media. Also, I doubt that anything but windows media is in 1st on most used, being that windows media IS included in EVERY version of windows in exhistence, along with even quite a few macs(ironic, eh?)

anyway, that's the free version and unless you want some extra's like real-time scanning for adware or whatever else this is pretty perfect ... I got like 257 things the first time I scanned and as far as I know I never downloaded stuff with adds before so a lot sneaks in ...
anyway if you don't wanna go through all that trouble, the free version of divx is just as good

Fullscreen mode = when a pic stretches to PERFECTLY accomodate a screen. DivX doesn't have that option. You can make it larger, but you can't do custom sizes.

Cuz DivX does that too I believe.
If you mean fullscreen while keeping the same aspect ratio, then it's not a Divx problem, it's a player problem. You can fullscreen in almost any player.
As for stretching it out of aspect ratio.. why would you want to?
