    Yes, that's old. Before the days when comms would find the tightest corner possible to cram a TF into, to avoid blind spots.

    1.0 turret farms were a nightmare...completely automated turrets as far as the eye could see..not easy to shift.

    In the earlier versions, the electified tf had a giant range, allowing it to cover all the marine base structures if you packed them together. Now it only affects you if you're in range to bite the tf. So you need turrents.

    those are old screenies

    a fwe clues you may have picked up on

    1 the tooltips - has already been mentioned

    2 the "commander" display. in 2.0, it says "comm", not "commander" - part of flayra's attempt to make the commander name more evident

    3 the upgrade icons. in the 1.0 beta tests, the icons got put ontop of each other, in the final version, and 2.0, they get replaced

    4 that look like one of the early versions of Eclipse. the 2.0 one is much better, with raised platforms each side

    That screen is old. And I'm surprised none of you mentioned, or perhaps you all forgot, that it was the screen shown during NS 1.0 installation! Compare for yourself!

    in the installation screen in 1.0 the player is using an lmg, not an hmg, i made a topic about it not to long ago.
