But you have to have a trigger gravity to make it go back down like where you want it to be normal? Maybee

Just use trigger pushes instead. A push up of 800 = no gravity. I haven't notice any affect of ping or performance, but I haven't tested that.

Don't use push in large areas, as this is a server side effect meaning it will only run smoothly on your pc.
Ping larger then 0 (even 100) makes it become laggy and buggy, because the effect is that every 100ms the servers makes you move up/away a little. This has been tested and confirmed - just like every other moving surface it is laggy.
Until valve will develop client side prediction for triggers and moving parts, don't use them as a way of moving players.

There is a space funmap using trigger_push. Pings were as usual, iirc and the level was filled with a big fat trigger_push and of course sourrounded by at least one skybox
While it *was* playable the server/client difference is obvious. Every few seconds you 'blink' a few inches.
Don't do it on official maps... but I don't think any official map will be released before 2.0 fixes the issue anyway, right?
...hmm was there something in the change log? I haven't seen anything. What about monser_hgrunt? They are so funny when they shoot NS grenades out of their MP5s
