<div class="IPBDescription">Official Release Thread</div> Mirrors are now up and ready at <a href='http://www.readyroom.org' target='_blank'>readyroom.org</a> so get downloading.

After watching the video a couple of times you can then do a "Where's Waldo" and try and find the hidden easter eggs. Post here with your finds.

I also want to take this opportunity to apologise to anyone who helped and was left out of the credits. I will use this post to list credit amendments, so post here if you were missed. Enjoy the video and let us know what you think. Please don't post with lines such as "OMG OMG OMG" or "This is poop". As much as it flatters or upsets us we want to keep this post strictly informational only, so shout words of joy at us in IRC instead at #planetns - Gamesnet <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->.     I was just about to be the first one to post about this on the forums and the creator comes and takes that away from poor little me. Well, i am downloading, this will be good stuff.     Okay, I think I found one. I have no idea what it is, however. In the beginning scene, during the close zoom into the marine's face, there's... something.... in the top left. It looks vaguely like a person, but I seriously have no idea what it is. It's not in the map though, at least I think not.

    Edit: Oh yes, and "Polearm to impale those who freeze-frame music videos" on Hellocke's list. Very nice.

    I think it does use divx, but my machine used the ffdshow MPEG-4 Video Decoder (xvid) codec which is a form of divx.

    Possible Easter-Eggs I noticed:
    O In CG Sequence in begging, after alien chuckles, camera zooms into marine who says "Aw hell no!" and right in the top left corner of the screen is either a spray of Gordon... or the Gordon model possibly?
    O Hellocke's List:
    1) One Standard Issue LMG
    2) Pistol and Combat Knife
    3) Some Box of Slug Repellant (?)
    4) Extra Pair of Underpants
    5) Photo of Wife, Kids, and Flayra (signed)
    6) Polearm (?) to Impale those who Freeze-Frame Music Videos
    7) More Res Nodes !!!
    8) Find the Fatty
    O When the entire team is lined up in marine start of ns_bast, the marine on the far left in the front has JP
    O Gorge model who speaks "L337 Speak" is the cute gorge model
    O Comm could actually build the bed and recliner on the ground floor of eclipse hive =P
    Thats all I noticed for now. Anything I missed?

    Oh and on a side-note, how come we dont get to see the carpet shampooer?!?

    As for the first one, yes, you spotted one of the eggs.     I'm a bit mad cuz I saw a screenshot about 2.0 while trying to get it..
    After reading a post here.. I decided not to look at any ns2.0 pictures until after I've played it..
    Downloading off bittorrent now..
