Lerk Spores- Changelog

I would really appreciate it if someone could explain to me exactly how lerk spores work, how much damage they do and at what rate.

It seems like the changelog has been taken out.

Also if someone could give me another site that has the NS 2.0 changelog that would be great.

    A) That sig is huge, you'd better change it.

    B) Lerk Spores are available at one hive. The damage does not stack. Adrenaline cost slightly reduced. Damage is 5(?) a second. Heavy Armor is immune to spores. It is a ranged attack.

    last I knew 6 damage per time period (dont know how long that is, perhaps a second perhaps more). and they dont stack any more.

    latest changelogs I saw said six damage per second, it lasts six seconds, they don't stack. Do the math, it's a max of 36 damage if they sit there and take it the whole time. It's more of a total support role now.

    if you look in the trailer though they fire pretty fast, they can deny an big area from the marines

    that light armour marines looked quite unumpressed being spored by 2 lerks.

    I would rather have weak stacking spores than strong non-stacking spores.

    Yes, well, there is a reason the spores no longer stack. Let the testers do their job.

    Think about it this way... If you manage to do 36 damage to ever marine in the cloud each shot, that's a lot of medpacks.

    Ill bet u that unless the poor guy is lagging out or afk, u will <u>never</u> do 36 damage per spore. Perhaps 12, or 18.

    I realize that u have like 3 spores and that they can be placed around each other therefore doing more damage as the marine(s) trys to escape.

    well maybe the lerk will impose some type of fear and the rines will run away... thus they won't have the oppurtunity to use it... i think its 6 tho too...

    Vents, building, while they're trying to defend a position, peppering three along a narrow hallway...

    Marines won't be bunnyhopping, I'm pretty sure you can manage 36 damage (not in the general case, but if you pick your fights).

    I think they toned down lerk spores, because a team full of tier 2 lerks could hold back a team full of tier 3 marines with massed gas spores, making it an overpowered defensive ability.

    But im no PT, what do i know ?

    We're discussing the stats for the changed spore... And all I know for sure is, it could do 2 damage per freakin' minute and I would fire it just because I like the green cloud. ;-)

    Put it this way. A few guys are coming down a long hallway, and I can do, lets say, 50 damage to them as they approach me. That means that my skulk friend only needs to land one bite, instead of two, increasing his lethality by 50%. If he's got celerity, he can make short work of them in no time.
