    Might help if I added the picture, no? <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I'd say move the internal clip for the LMG part to the back, have it loaded like an AUG. The space where the LMG clip was could be the insertion point for the shotgun rounds.

    Agreed, looks great tho

    Hmm, putting it on back would make it one long barrel...making it full-auto sniper rifle <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
    I say leave as is and get to modeling! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I can't see what you're saying; theres no room to put it in the stock... Unless I make that giant gap smaller?

    Hey! Thats perfect!

    Exept that the buckshot fires from the top barrel of the Shotgun. The lower one is a laser sight.

    And panzor! That is an awesome picture! ...Saves me a lot of work. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    heheh now all we need to do is make a model for that and have it be shotgun and lmg like get a shotty and it would be the bottom half just in the 3 slot of ur weapons or watever slot it is...
  • SidSid Corwid of the Free Join Date: 2003-01-28 Member: 12903Members, Constellation
    That would be so neat. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    FFS, photoshop crashed on me before I could save it, looks good, better than what I had.

    I also drew caps for the scope lenses.

    EDIT: Maybe the shotgun part should be detachable, so when you pick it up, he puts the shotgun part on and turns the dial to shotgun. or something.

    Sweet Idea!

    Hold on, lemme add that!

    Alright - here's what I did.

    In the game, when you pick up the shotgun, he'll pick it up as an attachment and he would take the rifle and slap the shotgun module underneath it, and usething that dial, he'd twist it about 360 degrees, locking the module into place. Thats what the animation would play.

    And when you switch back to LMG, he'd just whip out the rifle part with a gap of where the shotgun WOULD go. (The gap also double as a foregrip, too!)

    Well?

    P.S. I also added "Scope Caps"(?)
    Right now it is shown as closed.

    EDIT: Erm, what does a P90 foregrip look like? That would fit perfectly betweent he Shotgun Module and the main Rifle.
    And if you don't like this idea, we'll just scrap it. It's much easier to have a permanent shotgun.. I mean, you don't see the Marines from Aliens detaching thier Grenade launchers, now do ya? <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
    Or maybe the Shotgun could just be decoration, or vice-versa with the rifle.

    I love the idea with the shotgun add-on <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> ! IMO, it would be better to have both perm.

    Any idea what the skin's gonna be tho?
  • SidSid Corwid of the Free Join Date: 2003-01-28 Member: 12903Members, Constellation
    Maybe the current NS Theme? or if not, maybe a Chrome, Metallic-y looking thing? Hmm.

    I may switch back to Perm... any suggestions?

    what if the shotgun attachment could also be a breach-loaded grenade launcher? wouldn't work with ns but if it did that'd be sweet <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    edit: i mean a different ammunition type, not a whole new attachment piece
  • SidSid Corwid of the Free Join Date: 2003-01-28 Member: 12903Members, Constellation
    Well... Grenade ammunition usually need a barrel of there own... and diffrent stuff... and things. I don't think you'd be able to make a shotgun module also fire Grenades... <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I think I'm going to go for a permanent attachment of the Shotgun. Let me fix it up in a bit. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Hows this? I touched up the Permanent version. It's more-or-less the same, I changed the Magazine, and added the detail a bit.

    Rants/Suggestions?

    yes thats so kick arse, it NEEDS to be modelled <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Heh, that's pretty close to the rifle that I designed (which of course is ideal for me, cuz I like made it) and stuff... Only differences is instead of a scope mine had that rail like you see on the G36C and the rifle barrel looked more like a G36C's... And the shotgun was actually a semi-automatic 30mm self-propelled projectile launcher (rocket launcher basically)... and, um, nevermind.

    Good gun, but I would have the LMG mag curved and sticking out the bottom (/medisklikes mags in guns (cept pistols))...

    I'll try and color it again, that was one of the things I did.

    Alright it saved, I also didn't like the flatness on the top of the gun, so I raised the scope, I have the original colored so I'll just use that if you guys don't like this one.

    EDIT: I realized how much that looks like the original LMG...
  • SidSid Corwid of the Free Join Date: 2003-01-28 Member: 12903Members, Constellation
    Wow, Panzor - thats REALLY good! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

  • CoolCookieCooksCoolCookieCooks Pretty Girl Join Date: 2003-05-18 Member: 16446Members, NS1 Playtester, Contributor, Constellation
    that IS the original lmg tbh.
  • SidSid Corwid of the Free Join Date: 2003-01-28 Member: 12903Members, Constellation
    Nahh... I think it looks nothing like the LMG... so bleh. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
