    Don't worry. Flay got 70+ mirriors up. I'm sure +70 mirrors will get the job done.

    There are between 1500 and 3000 NS players at any given time.

    NS 2.0 will be everywhere. if u even bother to try and get it from fileplanet and their 30 min ques, you deserve to be waiting there <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    there will be millions of mirrors, just dont click on fileplanet as usually everyone uses them but they suck, a bit like AOL.

    only thing I use fileplanet for is things that people release exclusively to them <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
    I get maybe 200kbps from any given fileplanet server but from ausgamers I get 400+ and I'm in canada <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    You said it was gonna be released on bittorrent.. will that file be attached to a post here..?
    Will that post hopefully be sticked and locked?
    Or will it be included in the download page..?
    I am really looking forward to the bittorrent release..
    I'm planning on giveing bittorrent half of my upload bandwidth after ns is downloaded.. thats 10kb/s but any little bit helps..

    I hope you have a tracker lined up..

    One of the vets/PTs mentioned a couple days ago that the testers got a bittorrent host set up for release, so I imagine it'll be listed on the main page.

    I plan to use bittorrent on release. I have unlimited uploads that I think are 256 KB/s max. All I know is that I can upload 100 KB/s easy while using BT so NS 2.0 for everyone!

    We now have about 105 official mirrors as of tonight. That does not include the fact that some of the mirrors are multi-server mirror farms like FP, FS or Sunsite. Dig it.

    Some clansites or server communities are going to be
    downloading it from one of the mirrors, then posting it
    for their members.

    That's how I'm going to get it. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I remember first day of opening the flood gates to Vets... Something like 40-50 Vets were all downloading the beta client (110mb) at their max speed all from the same server... So I am pretty confident they will have PLENTY of bandwidth to go around..

    As long as BY get it up on their FTP, I'm happy. (I'm guessing they're one of the 100+ mirrors.)

    I'm gonna be sharing it on DC as soon as I get it. BBB, 10mbit fiber, if anyone in Sweden is interested.
