and Release the Client not to late. I´am afraid that we get the client on friday the
08/01/2003 and this would be really hard <img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'> . So please release the Client at 12 am in America so we get it at the Evening in Europ. Assuming most of the ns team has a job, they would either release it around 7 - 8 am usa time or around the evening...

Please, Monse, FLayra, anyone of the nsteam. Don't forget the non-usa fans. We might not be with much, but we want it as hard as those of america.

And it's not just Europe, it's africa, asia and europe and australia + new zealand.

Well my guess is that considering it will be in conjunction with an IRC party (right?) it will happen in the evening of the USA. Which means no NS til the 1st of august for us <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'>. I'm not quoting, just speculating. My girlfriend is happy though, means she'll see me one more day before I lock myself in the computer room with 2.0 for a month!

I live in England, and i kinda feel the same, but on the other hand, i'm just gonna download it when it's released and play it as soon as it's done. I'm thinking of calling in sick tomorrow so i can spend a day with my new mistress.

Yes i work full time and have to be up early.

Allthough I will stay up to whaetver time the client is released, I would prefer it if the client file was released on the release date and not 1st august in the uk.
AFAIK Europe does count for nearly half of the NS playerbase...

Gah. Get a grip people. No matter when it's released, some time zone somewhere is gonna get it later because they'll be asleep when it gets released.

Bearing this in mind, and i've said this before, it makes sense that it is released whilst the majority of the NS team is awake and around in case there are any last minute hitches.

And maybe, just maybe, Flay and Co deserve to enjoy the release party. Are you really going to begrudge them that ?

Woo! I may have found a solution to the "skiving off work" issue. I've just recieved word that the payroll is screwed up and nobody's getting paid until Monday. This means i can't afford the £228.50 for my train ticket to come into work tomorrow!

It's totally screwed me up, however, and spoilt all plans of going out this weekend, but i may just get my whole day of NSv2.0 without having to lie to my boss. <img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'>

But dude, take some comfort in the fact that i've not gotten paid and i'm SERIOUSLY screwed for cash. £14 to last me until monday and i'm supposed to be going clubbing this weekend with friends from "the third world" (Middlesbrough). Not seen them in ages and just had to cancel. That sucks.

Well if I knew an exact time then I WOULDN'T be asleep. If it's released at any time up to 2am UK time, I will stay up. If it's released any time after 2am, i'll go to bed early and get up at about 4am to download it <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'>

I can understand why Flayra doesn't want to give an exact time though, can you imagine if 70,000 (or however many active NS players there are) people started downloading NS at exactly the same time?

Although Flayra also said he will have enougth mirrors to cope with this, so.... my point has just been made invalid.

And I hope Roobs gets 2.0 <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'> (not that I can see any reason why it wouldn't.
