Changing Comm Binds?

is there a way to change the build menu binds that the comm uses?
i mean instead of 'qwer','asdf','zxcv' to something else.

well if ur asking, not it isnt. i already checked. its as if those binds are permently no matter what bindu put for the qwer,asdf.....

This one's really buried. I mentioned it before release hoping for simplicity, but apparently it didn't get changed.

To change your comm controls, you can either use the console variable
cl_cmhotkeys "qwerasdfzxcv" and change it to whatever you want. Remember the grid is
q w e r
a s d f
z x c v

Other than that, you can go to *inhales deep breath*
Multiplayer games - customize - advanced controls - page 2 of advanced controls. The option is there.
You can also change your default mp3 directory if you want ns to play some random mp3s for ya.

Can i use just my comm binds? in 1.04 i maked a cfg in war3/Starcraft Style, like b = build, v = advanced build, r = resource tower, a = armory.. etc etc...

But now my impulses dont work <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'> , and i dont like this QWER

ZXCV

style, can i desable this, and use my olds impulses/hotkeys?

but u helped me half. i mean how can i bind one of the hotkeys to say one of the mouse botten, or mybe something in the num pad?

cl_cmhotkeys "mouse4werasdfzxcv"
i dont assume this would work, would it?

it wont work Swivmaster. you can only bind alphanumeric keys.
