Ns Server Ping Spikes At Random Intervals...

<div class="IPBDescription">Ping spikes...</div> So I'm curious. Is it simply bandwidth that causes these spikes to happen? The server will run fine for quite some time then just slows to 3-4k pings for a minute or so. How many pother people have had that happen to them? I've got a decent cable connection ,but it just goes to hell at about 6-10 players only randomly. all other times it's perfectly fine even at 14 players...

    Yes, it's your bandwidth.

It's probably your bandwidth, but you don't give us alot of details to go on.

    What's your server connection?

    What type of system?

    Dedicated server?

    OS?

    etc, etc, etc.

Or you could just be happy with the answer - it's your bandwidth.

im hoping this isnt a ns problem, as the servers i play on, whilst generally under 100 ping, frequently spike to say 600 for a couple seconds, then back. these same servers did not do this beforehand
