<div class="IPBDescription">just a question</div> Well.. i love ns 2.0 and i would like to donate some money. Now, i live in switzerland and i cannot(and i dont want) to donate over paypal. Now i have to send the money with a letter.

Now the question, how secure is it? Any one here that did that? I mean, when i send 50-150 dollar(depends if i donate alone or someone donates with me at the same time) and they get lost...

one more thing. When i donate, how long will it go until i have the symbol near my name? Do i have to wait until the next patch?

    Well, there is always a chance it will get lost in the mail, but after that, I think it's pretty secure.

    <li>Wrap the money into at least two folds of paper - that way, the green won't shimmer through.
    <li>Use a thick envelope - make it look like a heavy letter, so sneaky fingers don't get any ideas.
    <li>If possible in Switzerland, send it with some kind of insurance. German 'Einschreiben', for example, are insured from losses up to a value of 1000€.

    The constellation sign will appear pretty quick, just depends on how busy Flay is, but all that happens is your WONID is put in a database all the servers check against.

    So you don't have to wait until the next patch.

    or some have icon issues, but i know my server has them enabled but as I said sometimes it doesn't work.

    Just curious, why would you want to disable them the icons at all? Do they like steal huge amount of BW or what's the deal?

    I <i>think</i> that on release some servers that had it on (mp_uplink 1) crashed when ns.org crashed -- that could be a reason to turn it off...
