<div class="IPBDescription">I'm only half serious, btw.</div> Please don't camp in some corner, hoarding res to get an onos and not contributing to the team. Go try to kill some rines, build some chambers, something. Onos are not the end all be all like in 1.04. They will die without upgrades, which means at least 2 hives. If you just sit there, you are dragging the teams res, slowing it down, and when you finally get the onos, there will not be the support you need to be an engine of destruction. Rines will have HA/HMG/Nades, and will kill you.

I see alot of this.

Don't people realise if they kill things they get res -> Onos faster. Don't worry it's just people getting to grips with aliens.

I hate the people who never gorge , and go straight to onos before DCs are up , so they get killed and we don't have any consistent defense when the hive is attacked by a HA train.

What really annoys me are the people yelling IM GOING GORGE IM GOING GORGE. Wake up folks, it's 2.0. One point that people aren't getting is that gorges don't get extra res, which means once you drop a res tower/sensory oc, go skulk again and get someone else to build that hive. Remember, teamwork is key.

maybe theyre just nervous, remembering days of old, when becoming the second gorge makes you instant noob and scum of the universe for the next half an hour, in addition to it being completely and totally your fault if aliens lost the game. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'>

I find it amusing how aliens used to chant "only one gorge!" to each other as the map got warmed up. Now they say "Everybody find a node and gorge!" <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'>

This is like NS died and went to heaven! Freedom to gorge! Yay!

Now all we have to do is train people not to sit there like lumps waiting for onos and we're set. GG!

"This is like NS died and went to heaven!" holywords, i don't know what dev team was thinking but ns died! there's no teamplay any more, game is very unbalanced in 2.0. There's easy formula for winnig aliens:
1) get maximum res nodes, regaldles if you die or not
2) go onos and have fun in eating marines (i'm playing on server where aliens are alway winning <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'> )

I've heard nice comparison of ns 2.0 to quake where you have visual efects above teamplay and excitement.

oh! and one more, in ns 1.04+ there was responsibility for what're you doing for who you're in 2.0 it dosen't care (team had commoon target)
