The map is around 90% done, but im starting to get sorta tired of it, so i dont know if ill finish it soon

    Finally! A mess hall that actually shows signs of marines being able to eat!
    Good job.. on the mess hall.. and everything else. Looks great.

    Yeah, you know how to map for the HL engine. The 45° angles and 'thin' walls and steps here and there make your desing pretty good. Lighting is average. And this big box with the blue LED panels and the two cables going to the walls looks a bit out of place to me. It needs some more life or whatever makes it look good. Otherwise the map is very inspiring. Very good work.

    Some ppl think that theese "food boxes" are a big nono for ns maps.
    You could just make the spaces larger in between them.
    Using really existing products can lead to problems, just fake them.

    Can hardly complain anything else.

    i see.. the mappers come out of theyr hole for ns 2.0 :-) im shure we will see a nice map pack comming up in a month or so...

    Impressive work as always Mazy!
    But again, you're overusing that light strip texture <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
    I can see it in every pic you posted (but 1). That feels a little like a newbie mistake <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I love the blue corridor with the top blue spiraling electricity thing.


    The hive spot witht he blue lights : Very nice overall feel. Although a tad bit darker would be better. And maybe some infestation on the floor to break it up/make the flat surface of the floor uneven.


    All in all, it's very good... but

    In the eight and ninth pictures, it looks like you have a light overlay texture that isn't set to additive, and it isn't giving off any light.

    And if I remember correctly, ns_moocow was the design name for this map (right?)
