<div class="IPBDescription">Anyone want to get a lan going?</div> I live in Chapel Hill and would love to attend/organize a NS lan around here. I'd probably be able to take along 2-3 friends. Anyone?

I think a LAN would be an awesome idea, and could be a lot bigger than you guys think.

I attend school at UNC Charlotte, about 2 hours away. During the school year me and about 8-10 guys who are also NS players set up a server to play on during the school year and played under the [UNCC] Tag. But all of us have been inactive since college let out for the summer. (I myself are just beginning to become active again with the release of NS 2.0, but when school starts back up, I'm sure we will all become active once again) So I'm pretty sure we could get anywhere from 6-10 guys to make the trip up to CH for a Weekend LAN.

We also knew a few guys from North Carolina State University (played under the tag -NCSU-) that would probably come if we could get in touch with them. And I could be mistaken, but I also believe that Othell, of the Natural-Selection division of CAL, lives in Charlotte.

So I believe that we could get a pretty good sized, fun LAN party going sometime in the future. If you guys are still for it, I can bring tons of people along for the lan, who are just as NS crazy as the rest of us. Just let me know.

I live in Durham and work in Raleigh. Now that 2.0 is out and things are a lot more interesting, I'd definatly be up for a LAN game. Just let me know when and where and I'll be there with whatever I can get my hands on to help out (cables, power strips, munchies, sodas, etc).

Are there any lan centers in the Raleigh area that we could possibly rent out for a day or two? I would be willing to shell out a little bit of cash if we can't find a suitable spot to play. Do we have any other people interested?

I would be willing to shell out some money for a LAN center as well. I did a google, and the only center that showed up was an Eclectic LAN in Raleigh which had closed. There was some word that a CompUSA had a gaming center in the area. Anyone still interested?

I'm keeping an eye on this... Not sure if I'd be able to attend...

Nonetheless, here's the interest page I had created last time this came up...
