It was not meanly an balance issue post.
I want to know 2 thinks
1. Is it intended that the kharaa no longer have at least 1 fulltime gorge
2. How could I earn engough res to effectly build without evolve killing runs (i find this really annoying)

And the 1 Answer i get was
that 5 gorge build as much as 1.
How naiv (sorry but i dont know another word for this Statement) must one be to think that you have 5 gorges on pub. Even if you have 5 gorges this would only last for a minute maximum. Everybody want to Onos not to gorge. Heh i can understand the People Onos is a lot more fun then gorging.

And Please dont close this thread again i want the answer to my 2 questions.

    He closed it because you were complaining about the alien's resource system.
    The pub versions has been out for atleast four day's, play it longer and you'll find the alien system fine.

    The game's not intended to have one full-time Gorge, multiple-Gorge's are almost required.
    A lone non-upgraded marine cannot take a Gorge out by himself, I alway's look for stray marines on the map and take them out by myself or.. you can just sit around and wait.

    I don't know how your asking questions is automatically "forbidden balance discussion" either, but I have seen people in 2.0 go gorge once they realized that it works, yes, 5 or more, quite often. That is not the hard part.

    I dont said that the Alien res system is crap i find it also nice but a fulltime gorge dont get engough res and the marines dont stand long engough before my oc´s to get killed. Next time i say them if they see one of my oc´s they shouldn´t move or fire <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    1. A fulltime Gorge is not out of the question, but it's much more appropriate for each team member to occasionally go Gorge now and again, when it's needed... then switch back to Skulk to earn up more res.
    2. OCs earn res for kills. Place them correctly and you will both be providing a valuable route-control asset to your team, as well as pulling in res for the given Gorge. This is only really viable in the mid-late game with a decent OC network set up. The rest of the time it's honestly better to just cap as many RTs as you can to increase your res income.


    So in short, no. At the moment the 'dedicated gorge' is not something to be stuck with, without a good bit of effort on the part of that player.

    raist, under the current system, it's pretty much pointless to be a full time gorge, except at the end when you have all the res towers and are getting res super quick, or if you're planning to battle gorge for a while before you go building things(set up ocs in well trafficed areas etc.)

    The skulk gorge evolving is to expensive. i mean this means that you are wasting 22 res.
    1 Time gorge and building (10 res for going gorge)
    Then go skulk (2 res eventually upgrading to get more kills which cost even more)
    and then evolve back to gorge (10 res)

    I mean these are already 2 Chambers.
    I dont like it to waste res as a good responable gorge <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
    And killing with OC. I have to say to thinks
    1. I first build as much res tower as i could
    2. Which marine stand long engough before an OC to get killed <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> even if this is the Case it would happen 1 time the next Time the Marines know that there is an OC and avoid or kill it. Also the OC?s (only in mass with dc) don?t have a chance against Heavy?s with GL.


    I don?t want to moan but i always liked it to be a fulltime gorge and now i need a really good tactic to earn res.
