I feel rather certain there will be another. it is generally good practice to always test the code after any changes. So since it wasn't release on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, there will likely be another test.
And clear out they did guys! Let's just say the new look on a lot of this weekends stuff was amazing. Still a few things to knock out though, but damn, I never knew so much could get done in a week <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
In other words you're all addicted and most likly have a physical depedancy. I know I am half way there from all the screenies and the info. <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->
I'd say at least 3 more playtests. We hit a large bug where all text suddenly left the screen. Possibly only 2 more, but I personally think that there will be 3 more. A few more weeks for maps to get finished, code to be finalized, and the models to be messed with.
I was really hoping for earlier than that, oi developer! What are your thoughts for the number of remaining playtests *Gwahir steels himself against the coming information*
Geez, guys... they're not going to give us a date... just chill. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

Its the only way to find bugs in the coding. You can't make something 100% bugfree just by finely combing the code. You have to test and retest to see if you have fixed the problem and/or if new problems have formed due to the changes you have made.
Maybe I should take the current build, travel back in time... to the time when Counter-Strike was in Alpha... and give the build to the future NS Dev group and say "And on the 6th day Natural Selection was created. Here, um... take this build and finish it."
And the leader would say "Whoa dude... I was just getting this idea to make a mod like that! Have you heard of Counter-strike?"
And I'd reply "Hell no!" and travel back to modern day to see how much it evolved!
Still wouldn't be out <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->
can't wait 3 weeks! <!--emo&:(--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('><!--endemo--> what will i do while i wait? i think it will be out 15/08, at least i hope it <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->
my bet is tommorrow....... no cookies <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->
I get so sick of telling people not to speculate on the release of NS that this is the last time I'm going to do it. Stop speculating, it ends up spreading rumors and is rather unpleasant for the dev team. It will be out when it's ready and no sooner.

Probably next month, not sure when though.
