Silly Ns Admin And Other Marine Gripes.

I was playing in a server today that had some NS ADMIN crap on it and it was nothing but a pain. 3 out of 8 times i would press a key to get something like a turret and instead a spawn portal or a resource node would pop up to be placed. It was just plain silly trying to place turrets while having every marine scream gimme armor gimme guns gimme this.

On top of that the team that I commanded to secure 75% of the map started to vote me out when we were on the verge of sieging the 2nd hive voted me out because everyone was whining "use those resources there are too many." Why the hell is it that every marine wants a freaking HMG and heavy armor when you're on the verge of sieging their 2nd hive. It isn't that big of a deal. LMGs WORK FINE JUST FINE! The damage was upgraded all the way. It's just rediculous.

    1. What the hell does you pushing the wrong hotkey have to do with NSAdmin?
    2. What the hell do n00bs have to do with NSAdmin? I bet there's 10x more n00bs than you were used to at 1.0x
    3. Stop bitching about NSAdmin, old complaints

Now. Can we get back on-track? He meant that when he clicks a button in the Comm HUD with his MOUSE, the wrong thing pops up, waiting to drop.

I've never commed on an NS admin server.

To be honest, if the marines vote eject you over not using heavy weapons as you are sieging the second hive, it may be time to move on from that server.

With my brief experience commanding in 2.0, I think dropping some upgraded weapons throughout the game is a good idea. I like to slowly outfit 3 or so marines with shotguns and 1 with a gl. LMG's are still needed for range kills. The shottie is a powerful defensive and offensive weapon. It has good early game killing power. The gl is effective at forcing the aliens to keep their distance from your territory.

So weapon/armor upgrades are good, but mixing in some different weapons can't hurt.
