How Much Ammo Do You Get At Armory?

<div class="IPBDescription">I can write anything I want down here?</div> Hmm it seems to me that there's always a couple guys at the armory. Are people spending too much time here? Considering some may die dozens of times during a long game you can look back and realized you spent a few minutes worth of game time at the Armory. 15 seconds * 20 deaths = 300 seconds. That's 5 minutes!!!
SO... I think it's because people are standing there thinking they need 250 ammo!! I originally got 250 because hey- it's free, right? Now I usually only get 100, sometimes more if the game situation seems to require it (i.e. sometimes when there are a lot of Onos I'll need to use a LOT of bullets on it while staying out of range or such)
BOTTOM LINE!!!! Don't waste too much time at the Armory! =D

Me, I figured out early that I can probably get away with taking 50/175 LMG and 10/20 pistol. Less than that and I tend to run out of ammo and die, more than that and I never run out before I make it back to an armory, which I think is a sign I'm taking too much.
Of course, if a commander is fool enough to give me an HMG, and nothing urgent is happening, I'll load that puppy up. Nothing sucks like facing down an oncoming skulk with an empty HMG. I always end up wishing, "Can't I at least use this thing as a big club?"
Plus, if you take less ammo, that means you're back out in the field faster, which means you're having more fun shooting at Kharaa than staring at your ammo numbers.
Normally 150 for my lmg if "just cuz" (I have a high survival rate)
but I always get full ammo if I'm going out on orders, because you have to survive out there without your commander, often.
2.0 : lmg 250 pistol full
in 2.0 u have to spam a lot to find cloaked enemys and sens chambers <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
I don't bother with pistol ammo though. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
I ALWAYS stock myself up when I have a HMG/SG/GL, unless there is a conflict that is extremely close to base, then I don't stock up as much.
Nonetheless, usually 100/50 for the LMG, pistol stay at 10/10
I always load up all the way. 2.0 doesn't have the 'speed-based-on-how-much-ammo-you-have' thing anymore. I had a fully loaded HMG with HA and I was able to keep up with LA/LMG.
full clips for hmg/shotgun/gl
i usually dont use my pistol... but sometimes i fill up...
none if phase gate is under attack <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
