Voice Comm Is Irritating..

<div class="IPBDescription">Too loud when you're listening!</div> Anyone else get irritated by people on voice comm who have their mics cranked?
Or people who just won't shutup?
I'll be sneaking towards a hive, trying to listen for feet, and I just hear blathering fools talk about god knows what..
It'd be nice if there was an impulse to mute everyone that you could bind to a key.. hit it while you're sneaking around. Or if it could kill the volume on voice comm by 75% let's say.
(note: no, it's not very viable to open up the scoreboard and mute the few people when you THINK there's an enemy around the corner, but couldn't quite hear well enough)

When you are ignorant enough to rambo and dont listen while staying in a group you should be ognorant enough to mute everybody, too.

There are situations when it is necessary to have a lone marine attempt to sneak into a hive. 1 marine is a lot easier to hide behind a crate than 5 <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
To solve the problem of being able to mute everyone at once,I think that Ollj has the correct method.
Bind a key to a script that reduces voicechat volume to zero. You can even set the script to function as a toggle so that if you press the key again, it unmutes everyone.
