One thing Ive seen w/LOTS of good models
OK if this post doesn't fit here just get rid of it, ditto with a repeat, but I haven't really noticed this issue addressed, OK Here We Go:
Correct me if I'm wrong, as I've not had too much experience in the modelling world, but I have kinda noticed a trend with LOTS of potentially excellent models. In most of them the modeller is so excited (just a theory) about having most of the gun visible that they shove the origins WAAAAY out there, and things like tiny looking or extremely long looking arms result. This is especially true w/shotguns.
Not just in NS, but in pretty much any HL mod I've played. When just holding the gun, depending on the model you should be able to see the entire reciever/reciever area. It should be quite a bit closer, as then people can see the work you've put into it as well as it looking normal. Bungee arms = nono. I guess that kinda takes the fun out of looking at the artwork, but that's what reload/deploy anims are for
You guys get what I mean?

I can't stand to have a model being held way out in front of me. It's annoying, looks bad, and unrealistic.
An example from RS:

That's one thing I like about Infiltration. You shoot from the hip until you bring the gun eye sighted, then you're looking through the sites.
