Quick Question Regarding Arms/proto

I'm about to head out for my first NS 2.0 comm experience ( <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo--> ), and I have a quick question. If you lose an arms lab with level 3 guns, and rebuild it, do you have to research from the ground up, or is your level automatically restored?

    Hah, I don't know where I'll be going. redphive/beans/SoM/voogru/skulkrush would probably be your best bet. Oh well, time to go comm.

    You get your upgrades back when you build another arms. (If I remember correctly, which I think I do.)

    Sometimes, when I lose my arms lab, I only lose my armor or weapons upgrades, not both. Of course, haven't really played many games where I've lost an armslab before endgame.
