Big Ns Problem, Effecting All My Other Mods

After installing Natural Selection, I noticed that there was a transparent blue box around my crosshairs, and a large transparent red rectanle on the top of my screen. There have also been occurrences of large white boxes around my teammate's torsos and large blue boxes around my opponent's. I figured maybe it was just a mod bug or something, I didn't think much of it until I went to go play counterstrike and the same blue box and red rectangle were there. I went and played The Specialists, and it showed up there too. I quickly realized that the boxes were showing up in all of my HL mods. This has never happened before in any HL mod, or any other game on my computer to date. I updated my video drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled NS and now I don't know what else there is to do. I don't want to go through the trouble of uninstalling and reinstalling all of my mods and HL. Please help guys, I'm adding a screen I took of the problem. I was playing specialists when I took the screen.

This reminds me of some problems that croped up with the PTs/Vets... really wierd, not sure

what video mode are you in? make sure you try OGL (or switch to D3D if you are in OGL)

hmmm, seems like the problem is only occuring in OGL, in d3d the blue and red boxes are gone, but so are the crosshairs. :'( I know my card is OpenGL compatable because I ran all the other mods in OGL and with no problem.

Uninstall and reinstall your HL or CS retail client.
