Cant Join Servers On Certain Maps

<div class="IPBDescription">plz help</div> like the title states, i cant join servers when they are on certain maps. the maps i am positive i can join are ns_eclipse and ns_lost. i am unsure about ns_veil and ns_hera for i can sometimes join servers running those. however any other map running i cannot join the server. even when the game is done and a new map is loading, i get dropped or something before the map loads. can someone tell me how to fix this or at least tell me why?
i run ns on default opengl 800x600
the config is tweaked in order for fps boost cuz of my old and obsolete computer

    Have you tried a reinstall of ns? if not, go try that. If its solved, hurrah for me. If not, i dont have a clue, but someone else may do.

    i do believe its working now yay. i uninstalled it then defragged my computer, then installed it again. didnt seem to be able to join at first but later it started working fine yay!!! i rejoice
