My Console Wont Stop Loading

  I am pretty sure that this is a tech problem. I've had it myself. Sometimes it loads, sometimes it doesn't.

  I know! 25% I start my console (it is care: hl, ns.....)
  LOADING, LOADING, LOADING, LOADING, LOADING, LOADING, LOADING, LOADING, LOADING, LOADING, LOADING, LOADING, ...............It never stops then!!!
  I can't Alt Gr + ctrl + del for the task manager!!!
  I must reset my computer!!!
  And i am sorry for my english (If something is wrong.....)

  guys, all it takes is a retry.
  
  Its because the map failed to load. Even press the ~ key when it does that- it'll say at the bottom of the console, "Map Load Failed" or something like that.
  
  All it takes is you typing "retry" and hitting enter, and your going again.
  
  Its a mini HL problem.

  If your console screen only says Loading when it pops up and it doesn't go away, alt+tab a few times back to your half life or cs
  it should take between 1 and 3 times to do that and have the console pop up regularly.
  Does the trick for me.

  calm down, calm down...
  
  are there any combinations of keys that do work?
  
  does the numlock light flash when you press it?
  
  try reinstalling hl or ns, or just press the reset button

  Press the windows key, see if that works. Then if it does, right click on half-life and close it.
