I am new to natural selection.
you may guess that i am not very good. (I cant hit that skulk at top)
i realy need taining at NS so i was womnfering if any one knew where i could download bots (EXE file if possible)

    Whichbot is aliens only of course but you get to blow them to pieces.. Unfortunately there is no skill level so you get to practice with the big bots which don't use all of 2.0's new abilities but they are still a good match to learn fighting aliens.

    im gettin a bit better wiv that which bot!
    i won against them 1nce. it was hard, i need some marines. an is there ans NS begginner servers?

    There are a few around.

    Bots won't really teach you much. Most of NS newbiehood is just learning what stuff does, how to do things, etc, and you can't learn that from bots.

    it would help him greatly. because if he had marine bots he wouldent have to jump out of the comm chair every time he dropped a structure so he can build it. if he had bots he could focus more on the commanding part, or the aiming or whateva. but right now its kind of impossible to practice unless you have marines and alien bots.

    Turn on sv_cheats 1. There's a code that makes structures autobuild (forgot, sadly, but someone here can tell you).

    give team_hive
    OR
    give team_armory
    OR
    give turret
    OR
    give team_prototypelab
    But there is a problem with that, give team_hive causes an error, and the marine buildings are unfinished, and you can't finish them!! And they spawn in you!!! So do not forget noclip and god......

    i put sv cheats and everting on but it wont let me use godmode and noclp!

    Yes, because you started it as a LAN game...
    Those cheats only work in singleplayer mode.

    They just simply do not work, in LAN or any other 'mode' of NS. Those work in Half-Life.

    They DO work if you start a map via the console with the map command. So you type "map ns_bast" and a game handled as singleplayer is started. And yes, NS gameplay is still there except for noone can join this game and theres no scoreboard.

    if you want god mode, i believe the command is "invul".

    if you want a noclip mode, go into spectator veiw

    no, its not, because to use thes commands, you need to be an extremely high level admin, and you give acces to them for everybody
