    ok first please make topic titles that make sense.. im writing response
    Ok, what happens is that either they took you down so fast that Redeem didn't have a chance to "activate" orrr if it looked like you went to hive and died then it is HL's netcode... it is client side prediction so if you are Onos X and you attack Marine Y but Marine Y had a really high ping... to him he would keep shooting you but to you it would look like you were at the hive redeemed... BUT due to the prediction the server recognized Marine Y shooting you thus you got killed at hive...

    Also, you may have had a very low number of DC.. 3 DC minimum (btw DC = Defense Chambers)

    ROFL! He's gonna quit NS because his little redemption didn't work as onos. Boy does it suck anyway.

    Marine1: "OMG ONOS!!!!" "SHOOT HIM OH NO OH NO! HE'S GONNE KILL US!"

    Marine2: "Hey look he dissappeared!"

    Marine1: "Awesome. He could have killed us and the base but instead he took a comfy trip back to the hive"

    Elder the problem was i didn't redeem so i lost 100 res, and then it happened AGAIN

    GOOP there is no such plugin... if you truely think it is the server just try a different one.. i will bet my new 80 dollar joystick that no admin disabled redemp....

    1. NS is still beta
    2. You cant redeem while devouring a HA
    3. It couldve been some server mod
    4. Low level of Redemt
    5. Lag

    ok here's my response... redemption onos is lame... ive seen a guy redempt 10+ times... then the comm listened to me and dropped shotties and the onos went down. anyways but the point is that redemption onos isnt respectful IMO <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> if i see a person i respect do redemption onos i lose all the respect... try cara (which owns) or regen (50 hp a tick) and do hit and run tactics... u dont always have to run in and suicide trying to kill as many marines as possible and then redempt. think outside the box.

    Goop, you need to calm down. Redemption does not work all the time. That is built into the game, it is not a server variable. That is the point. If redemption worked all the time, it would make you invulnerable until you suicided, which is unfair to the marines. Typing in all caps makes me tempted to report your post to a moderator.

    GOOP for one thing plz don't type all in bold.... redeemp is NOT a 100% guarantee that it will save you... it is just an increased <b>CHANCE</b> that you will... if they shoot you fast enough you <i>will</i> die.. even with lvl3 redeemp... belive me I have died with onos as redeemp.....

    edit: then a few things come into play GOOP
    1) Lag
    2) Not lvl3, thus you have lower chance of not getting redeemed
    3) They killed you really fast

    I ask again.. what were they atacking you with?

    GOOP i got an idea... stop using redemption onos, its a stupid tactic. there are 2 other options that IMO are like 50x better than redemption. you can whine all you want but you died and now you are whining to people who have already given you all the answers u need to go back to play NS or quit NS. you actually have 3 options, keep whining, play NS, quit NS. gg.
