I have seen a lot more 'Marines are screwed!' posts than aliens are. Seriously, how often do peple even see a Marine win? I'd really like to see more, but whether Alien or Human, I always watch the last Marine die to the first Onos.

Yup, that o tower around the corner is so much better than an o tower in the open.

At two hives you have adren/regen fades(uber assassins) and celerity/redemption onos(protected investment tank). I have never achieved such *mass killing sprees* with Movement chamber than with anything else.
Silent Skulks are *the* uber weapon. Okay, so Flayra will plan on nerfing the onos devour, thats fine as long as I get my silent skulk.
ALso adren/regen fades are awesome, but im not quite as proficient with the fade yet.
Yeah, i think movement should almost always be first in many maps, except maps that are very well lit like eclipse where sensory owns.

Unfortunately, competant commanders are in short supply.
Onos isn't supposed to be a tank... it's supposed to be of the hit-and-run type like the fade but better.
Example : They come in handy for devouring heavys with heavy weapons as long as they got redemption. I haven't really found a better way to deal with heavys.
Another example: if you have the marines cornered somewhere (ususally turrent infested areas) you can hook up oni with a few DC's and they can charge in, do thier damage, and charge out to get healed and go at it again, and this can be effective because onos are the best class for attacking structures hands down. Onos is still the best class I think, but kinda cost too much(IMO onos should be around 80 res). They're just something to get to deal with upgraded marines....just like fades deal with normal marines.
i just do lerk. i can kill squads of low lvl marines solo with lerk. if i have 100 res i may go onos. in one game i have helped kill a wave of HA and then went off to destroy d res then a hive they held then the next hive. some lerk did do abit of umbra to help. still with regen the only real way to kill an onos is shottys and hmgs. an onos with regen can tkae out a outpost with a few turrets no problem as u regen the health they take off, so they dont really hurt u.
This is just a great post. I just read it now. I've been thinking about writing a huge post about both races and how important territory and res control is now. But I'm bad at writing large posts, heh. Don't blame the game, blame your lack of strategical intelligence and skill/aiming.
actually one 1.04 tactic still works in 2.0, seiging from red room in ns_nothing <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
