And with a microsoft intellimouse explorer, using custom programs in the drivers..
If so. Nuke the custom programs. It'll work fine.. bind things to mouse4 and mouse5
Dynamic lighting is r_dynamic 0 I believe..
Try updating your drivers
Update directx as well
If that's not the problem, the only other thing I can think of is to make sure you have the newest intellimouse drivers (windows update should work for that).
I was using this software to use voicecomm on my mouse, so I would only have to have one button bound.
If any programs are like this, remove all of the programs, it should make the mouse lag disappear
If you open the Mouse properties, uncheck the "Enable program-specific button settings"
Check all the settings inside half life, mainly controller ones.
Verify that nothing is running in the backround, patch the current windows hole..
I have something similar if mIRC reconnects.. it is probably a program in the backround
Are you running Win2k?
and if that dont work then any other ideas?
I started thread about the same problem ive been having ... i get somewhat random lockup/lag in controls once in awhile. No idea why does that...
